Massacre Rocks State Park

Course Description:

Desert landscape with juniper trees and sage brush. Plays up and down hills and valleys. State park, $5 day use fee. Good hiking shoes recommended. Hot in the summer.

Directions:

West from Pocatello: I-86 west 36 miles to exit 28. East from Boise: I-84 east 180 miles to the I-86, Take I-86 east to exit 28. At park entrance, turn right and go past visitor center and campground to a left just past RV dump station (baskets visible on the left) to small parking lot with bathroom and picnic area. 1-9 to the west, 10-18 on the east side.
