Once a campground - creative features challenge (boulder, bunker, OB road). Long and narrow with many mature trees - parallels the Scioto River (in play on several holes).

On the west side of Rte. 33 (Riverside Dr.), 6 miles south of Rte. 161 and a half mile north of Lane Ave.
Much of the challenge here is tweaking your drive. The course plays resonably long and uses trees smartly, forcing a choice of several attacks on most holes. Virtually no technical short-game is needed, unless an errant drive punches into one of the many honeysuckle groves lining the course. A couple holes are duplicates of others, so the course can be repetative, especially in the middle of the round, but overall there is a good variety of challenges for a mostly flat field-course, and quite a few holes have an interesting tee or finish. Alternate pin locations (net slightly harder, I believe) were recently intalled on 17 of the 18 holes.
Scheduled but informal random doubles (best throw) tournies happen often - the kiosk has more information.
Course is fun. Have played many doubles in the past here. It has several challenging holes but again can feel very repetitive at times. Pros: variation or throwing styles or disks is needed on tee offs, good scenery, challenging, and 2 disk golf stores within 5 min are available with any disk you could want and doubles every wednesday cons: repetitive play? Not many holes with trees to provide more challenge. I rate it a 3 not because its not a fun course but because I've played better. Good course though if you are trying to gain experience.
A solid, wide-open course along the banks of the Scioto River. Great for practicing your drive technique.
Tees are cement, tees and holes are marked, although navigating the course has you doing a little back-tracking. Plenty of people playing at almost any time, just ask if you need help.
Several baskets moved (in the last few years) back into wooded areas, away from main fairway, for slightly more difficult approaches.
A few well-placed trees will have you planning your shots, as long as you stay in the open, they won't cause too many problems with your approach.
Hole 16 (maybe 15) has you throwing blind from a tee packed into some thick growth; righty's, let your disc bank left as you throw straight out.
Hole 18 is a 450'+ monster!
its a nice all around course but flows kind of weird as you have to crisscross the course many times.The main drawback to me is that fact that in 1 field in the middle of the course about 5 or 6 holes play through the same area so you must keep your head on a swivel.good course to work on drive placement but make sure you're shooting at the right pin,can get confusing.Good for beginners trying to lengthen their game and a good place to try out your new discs from the killer disc golf store right up the street.
A nice course near downtown that can be played after work when the days are long. Some confusion and congestion in the middle of the course where several holes overlap but a good mix of holes. The course plays well with any style of throw and is a good course for a group of varied skill.
