Mix of open and tight wooded holes with natural barriers. Elevation and natural hazards on every hole. *8/1/2011 Course closed weekdays until 8/15/2011 due to construction project.

Directions:
Hwy 29 to Ruckersville. West on Rte. 33, to Harrisonburg, 4.5 miles to a left on CR 623 (light), 0.10 mile to 1st left. Turn left at animal shelter sign. 1st tee next to kiosk.
A decent wooded course, but stay out of the rough! I went 15' into the woods, looking for an errant throw, and was attacked by this humongous vine, complete with 1" thorns. By the time I got back to the fairway, the backs of both legs were pretty bloodied.
great layout and plays great , needs some trimming on back 9 and recommend off for ticks and other than that it needs pars added to tees. will play again soon . if you throw off fairway well expect briers .fun course looking forward to next time there.
