From Beach St. go east on 1st to park entrance on right.
nice course, needs some cleaning up from clearing out for the fairways. between holes 16 and 17 had a hard time getting between, lots of water in between. hole 15 had lots of standing water to drive over but not impossible. 3-4-10
There is a group that is working on clearing alot of this course. The first 9 are playable but the back 9 is totaly overgrown. This course is very rugged and loosing a disk is almost certain. Maybe we could chip in and help clear up the back 9 holes of this course. The city does not seem to up keep this course near as well as all the other courses I have played in Fort Worth.
The course is not well kept. If it was kept up, it would be a great course to play. But there are a lot of creepy people strolling around in their vehicles. VERY CREEPY PEOPLE!!!! I'm not sure what's going on with these people, but when you see the same 4-5 cars 8-10 times strolling the same area I begin to get a little paranoid as to what they're doing. Also heard that the park is known for prostitution, male prostitution. I won't be playing this course again!! I strongly suggest that if you throw this course, go with group of friends and don't use port-a-potties!!! WATCH OUT FOR WEIRDOS ON THE STROLL!!!!
Difficulty and fun I would say a 4, but because of trees and swamp a 3. Went in winter so trees and brush were at a minimum, but would be very difficult to play otherwise. Challenging course, but doesn't beat you down as there are Par 4's and 5's. Had trouble finding hole 15 and 17, make sure you have a map or know where you're going. Overall it was fun, but would be bad when trees and plants are grown out.
