Course Description:
Course winds thru Whorle Creek valley on former ball golf course. Mix of tight, open, uphill and downhill shots. A well-maintained rec. course from short tees. Concrete pro tees greatly increase difficulty. 2 practice baskets.

Directions:
I-35 to U.S. 30 exit, west to 3rd Ames exit (University Blvd.), north to a left at 1st traffic light (Mortensen Dr.), to a left on Gateway Hills Dr. (south of high-rise dorms), to park. 1st tee south of sand volleyball courts.
This is surely the better of the two courses in town!
From the pro tees, this can be a challenging course. The holes are well laid out, and often somewhat protected. Good elevation changes and pin placements.
Course is often very busy since it is so close the campus of Iowa State.
