Designed by Eagle scout for his 'Big Project". 9 holes, some are pretty long. Gravel/rail tie tee boxes and nice DGA multi-chain baskets. Nice practice basket near first tee box with pleasant views overlooking the lower Yellowstone river valley and Badlands. Pars are too liberal, but the course is really diverse and fun. Holes on bottom land are in tall deep grass and leafy spurge: USE BRIGHT COLORED DISCS AND MARK THEM DOWN WITH LANDMARKS!! Plan on taking extra time to find your discs. Not many trees: wind, elevation change and treacherous pin placements add wonderful challenge. 2nd Tee box washed away in big rain years, I have been teeing off west of 1st basket. 5th through 8th holes go into rocky uplands and circumnavigate around the big badland butte across from campus. 8th basket is down the main draw north of Tee, toward the right... its a LONG way... honest par 4. This course needs nine more holes! I think this course is a bit better than the nice 18 hole course at Makoshika State Park: Glendive has two great courses---play them both for sure!!
