Exit 91 off I-26, to Hwy 48 (Columbia Ave.), 2 miles to Chapin, left on Lexington Ave. (becomes Old Lexington Hwy.), park is 2 miles on right.
This is a very good course. Be sure to bring all your disc on this course. It is very technical. There is the memorable holes like 1, 3 and my favorite the island hole 7. They have 29 holes now. Soon going to be 36 I heard. To get to the other holes. When you pool in to the park they are right to your right. You can't miss them. This is worth a 1-2 hour drive. Signs are great. Best course in the middle lands.
The only thing I do not like about this course is the length. It is fairly short. 2 holes on each side I could not get my drive to the basket.
Very cool course. Two tees on almost every hole of the Duvall course. Multiple pin positions on several holes. The other 8 holes on the west side of the park need some work, but definitely have a good contrast to the Duvall side.
Played this course a couple weeks ago. Has all the hardware and is very technical which suits me. I love some of the hole layouts. A must play course if you are in the area but I would suggest Earlewood course in Columbia and save the drive.
love this course....there is also an alternate 8 holes on the other side of the property....love that some pin placement changes weekly...never taken anyone out there and got a negative reaction...once you play here you will be back on a regular basis.....
Fun wooded course in a park rife with children, runners, and dog walkers. This course requires a fair degree of accuracy but a few holes have plenty of space for wild power drives.
The red (amateur) tees play very short, so experienced players looking for a stiffer challenge should go ahead and play white or blue (advanced). Note that there is a sign with the hole number and hole map beside every blue tee but only some of the red tees. There are no colors on the tee pads; use common sense when figuring out which pad is which. Also, some of the listed pars on the blue tees are dubious. Locate and print the online scorecard for accurate pars.
First time players, print the course map! But note - apparently, a few of the holes in the middle of the course (8ish-12ish) have changed location and are marked incorrectly on the map. You'll have to find them yourself. For instance, #11 plays down beside the fence of the ball field. To find #12, you want to keep walking straight down the fence in the same direction you were throwing before taking a left. Due to landscaping, you cannot travel easily as the crow flies, so use the concrete path and head in that direction. Knowing this tee spot will save you five or ten minutes of wandering.
I had a great time playing this course. It's well kept and the hole layout almost makes enough sense to traverse without a map. Too bad it's a solid 35 minute drive from downtown Cola.
