Great course with a wide variety of shots. About the only thing missing is tight tunnel shots. Some well placed elevation changes add difficulty and fun to the course. Couple of over 400 foot holes as well. A few holes may get a little sloppy after lots of rain, but overall plays well for wet days. Well maintained with good signs up. Changed pin position a little further to the right on number 5 as of last visit on 10/11/09.

I never get sick of playing at Community Park, I play this course at least once a week. The maintenance of this course so far this year is fantastic. The fairway's are always nicely mowed, new mulch always being put in along the paths, the signs and baskets are all in tact and in good condition, and there is almost no trash at all anywhere! Very good mixture of distance and difficulty, and creatively styled holes. Community Park will definitely always be one of my favorites, I am happy to say this is my hometown course.

Must visit park, VERY well maintained (thanks to Frank), signs at every hole, concrete tees, some alt. tees, good mix of shots, busy in the afternoons and on weekends. easily the Nicest course in the area.

I was in the Chicago area in late August, 2011 and I had the privilege of playing the Community Park Disc Golf Course in Channahon for the second time (the 1st time was 2 years ago). I was totally impressed by all aspects of this disc golf course. Great tee pads, functional tee signs, all baskets in good working order and manicured fairways. The most impressive part of this course that puts it above most courses that I have played in over 30 years of disc golf was the attention to detail that has gone into the course. Numerous garbage cans (that are actually used!) block retaining walls, natural plantings near tee pads, bridges, pathways all contributed to a really great experience.
