In a large park with scattered large hardwood trees. Some holes play along a creek and a river. #2 and 6 play over ponds. A tough course. Park # 815-547-3254.

Directions:
From Beloit, WI; take I-90 south to 20 exit Belvidere, 20 becomes N. State St., right on Appelton, left on Lincoln Ave., then a right into the park. Park by the pool. 1st tee across bridge.
Just played it...not what I am used to coming from Lake Tahoe and it's forest/mountain courses. Nice little course with a river winding throughout and lots of grass. Water comes into play on a few holes. Doesn't appear to be heavily played? Must pay close attention as many holes have park benches, playgrounds, and walking paths that could be hazardous. I would play it again and periodically as a means of a quick and convenient round.
walking paths and kids playing everywhere. its a nice layout but a bad location.
