Impressive views of the Sawatch, New York and Gore Ranges. Mountain course - lots of up and down. Some long open shots, some short narrow ones.

Directions:
I-70 west 1.5 hours from Denver, take main Vail exit and go to Eagle Bahn Gondola at Lionshead. Course is at the top of the gondola. Gondola ride/$20 - free w/ ski pass, and after 4 pm. Thurs-Sat (runs until 9 pm). Lift closed M-F in Sept. and Oct. Can also walk or bike up 2100' vertical.
Amazing views from this course that starts near the top of the Eagle-Bahn gondola. Free for season pass holders. Has a good mixture of shots around and into trees and obstacles. Watch for hikers.
It is no longer free with last years pass. 49 dollors down and a contract signed to buy a pass by sept first gets you summer benefits. Same with beaver creek. Course is nice. Just like skiing/snowboarding, don't go on weekends. At least parking is free in summer
