Brazilian Springs Newest PDGA Sponsor

Brazilian Springs Joins PDGA as Newest Sponsor

Official Water Provider of 2009 PDGA World Championships

Whether you are a tournament player or a tournament director, you know having water on the course during play is one of the top two amenities that have to be in place for a successful event to occur.  Bathrooms are the other.

With that in mind, the PDGA has recently launched a new partnership agreement with Brazilian Springs from Colorado, the most innovative and environmentally conscious of all the bottled water companies.

Know darn well that the manufacture and transport of plastic bottles leave a significant carbon footprint, Brazilian Springs has embarked upon the most environmentally friendly campaign to remedy their energy use and emissions.  For every bottle of water sold, Brazilian Springs invests back into the Amazonian and other rainforests around the world.  Each bottle of water sold helps to preserve 90 square feet of rainforest.  Efforts like this help balance out the energy usage described above, and it's called the "carbon offset."

Carbon offset programs work quite simply by preserving enough trees to breath in the carbon emitted in the manufacture or transport of the water.

In addition to the environmental benefit of drinking Brazilian Springs water, there is a distinct and definite health advantage as well.  Yea...I know...you are thinking that water is water is water.  But that not true with Brazilian Springs.  The water pH is 7.9 at the source.  Spring water contains a diverse combination of minerals which gives each water source a distinct taste. We believe that our pure fresh spring water contains a unique blend of natural minerals, providing you with a satisfying drink to quench your thirst.
