All Amateur and Junior participants in the 2016 PDGA Amateur & Junior Disc Golf World Championships must be current 2016 PDGA Amateur members and be a certified official (having passed the Certified Official's exam and paid the certification fee) before they can register for for the event.   Official Certification must be good through the end of the event. Players must also maintain their amateur status by declining pro cash or accepting only merchandise in lieu of cash at PDGA Tour Events until after the 2016 PDGA Amateur & Junior Disc Golf World Championships or they will no longer be eligible.

In order to receive an invite, players must have been a 2015 current member prior to December 15, 2015. 

Qualification Criteria

1. Top Amateur Points earners of the 2015 PDGA Tour year: Minimum Standards: MA1 750 pts, MM1 250 pts, MG1 75 pts, FA1 15 pts
2. Junior Divisions - all male and female Amateur members eligible for any Junior division in 2016 who completed any PDGA Tournament (not league) in an Amateur division during the 2015 PDGA tour year.
3. Older Divisions - all male Amateur members eligible for Senior Grandmaster or older divisions in 2016 & all female Amateur members eligible for Master or older divisions in 2016, both who completed any PDGA Tournament (not league) in an Amateur division during the 2015 tour year.
4. International - all current International Amateur members (country other than USA or Canada) who completed a PDGA Tournament (not league) in either an Amateur or Professional divison during the 2015 tour year.
5. Canada - all current Canadian Amateur members who completed three (3) PDGA sanctioned tournaments (not leagues) in either an Amateur or Professional division during the 2015 tour year.

Note:

Only Amateur members are invited to register for Amateur Worlds, and only Amateur points count towards Criteria #1. An invitation to register for Worlds, does NOT guarantee a spot at Worlds. Timely Registration is still required to get in.
