2014 PDGA Pro and Am Worlds Update


Am Worlds Registration

Today is the last day to register for Am Worlds or get on the Am Worlds waitlist. Today is also the last day for players that are in Am Worlds to withdraw and receive a full refund minus the $10 handling fee. Those withdrawing from the event after today will only receive a player’s pack.

Am Worlds Waitlist

Any players on the Am Worlds waitlist may remain on the waitlist in case there are further drops over the next week. Those players who do not get into the event will automatically receive a full refund minus the non-refundable $10 handling fee after the event is closed on next Friday, July 18th.

Pro Worlds Registration and Waitlist

Friday, August 1st is the last day of registration for Pro Worlds. Drops by that date by players in the event will receive a full refund minus the $10 non-refundable handling fee. Drops after that date will receive only the players pack. Anyone on the waitlist may remain on the list and if they don’t get in to the event they will receive a full refund minus the $10 non-refundable handling fee.

Doubles and Field Events

There is still space for each of the Doubles competitions (Pro Mixed Doubles, Amateur Mixed Doubles, and Junior Divisional Doubles) as well as in the Field Events. Players wishing to participate should contact the PDGA office to register.

Divisions of One

All divisions must have at least two competitors to be held. The following divisions currently have only a single competitor registered:

  • Female Junior IV - FJ4 (under 10)
  • Female Legend – FPL
  • Male Grand Legend – MPR

If a second competitor does not register for these divisions, the single player in each of these divisions will need to move to a different division they are eligible for or withdraw and receive a full refund minus the $10 non-refundable handling fee.
